Silly coral names. Can anyone ID these?

Bought these on WWC ebay action. When I google them, the pictures from the actual auction (and a few other frags) is mostly what pops up. I'm trying to figure out what a mother colony might look like. Does anyone know what they actually are? thx

species ID is difficult, there are so many acros. For me, I always start on LiveAquaria divers den and go to the sps page. Every piece has its latin name, I look at pieces that are most similar to mine to determine an id and go from there. I can take a look and see if I can ID them, but maybe another acro expert can weigh in before I do that.

As far as a mother colony pic, I have no idea, contact either WWC or UC perhaps.

Your not going to find any info on them. They are just made up names. The Ebay auctions are just stuff wwc gets in chops up and sells cheap. That's why there are not many highly sought after corals on their Ebay auctions.

I check their site for many of the acros they have on ebay, and many are in the 100-200$ range. Sometimes they get that high on ebay but in general ebay its MUCH cheaper than buying direct from site.

I buy 99.9 percent of my stuff from wwc. Trust me, there actual real corals that are well known they don't put on Ebay very often. I've been buying from them for years.

But if you don't believe me, feel free to reach out to wwc directly. You will get the the response that they do not have any pics of the mother colony in those 2, I guarantee it.

Oh I believe you, I'd imagine there are plenty they don't put on ebay. I'm just saying most of whats on ebay is also sold on their site. I bought this one for 32$. Last time it was on ebay (month ago?) I was outbit at the last second for ~65$.

Unfortunately, most of what's selling nowadays in those sales is basic Aussie stuff. Anything new (that's nice) coming in will be held on to, and the average stuff chopped up and sold. #1 looks like A. Donei #2 A. Selago #3 A. Anthocercis, but who knows.. I'm sure they will all be nice when they grow out.

#1 is the one I look forward to seeing grow out the most. Here is another frag of it from their previous action. The thing is fascinating. The corallites look like they're melting! (in a good way lol)
