Silly Question

Ok I have a silly question I am looking to glue some rock and some other stuff together and was wondering if hot glue is safe to use,, it would be great to be able to use it because of how fast it drys

It's safe I think but does not work well at all.
There is a crazy new melty bead stuff that is make for reefs that works pretty good.

Hot glue won't work. It turns brittle. Get the Reef Glue epoxy.
Also, hot glue isn't strong enough.. You might end up with a crushed fish.

But is hot glue safe is my big question like if I were to use it in my sump to hold something down would that be ok

This talks about whats in Hot glue. If it is a Fish only tank, you'd probably be fine. If you plan to keep corals, I'd stick to the Good stuff.. Nothing worse than unknown chemical compounds to ruin a really expensive tank!

Too money other better options out there. Chemically speaking , it doesn't bond well as it lacks things to do so. Like super glue or two part epoxy does.
