Simple/Cheap DIY LED strip

Hello all. I am looking for a simple DIY LED light strip. This isn't for my aquarium, just need to have some simple LED lights to light up some etched acrylic I'm working on. I looked around on the web for awhile but couldn't find anything simple enough. Thought I would try the expertise around here.

I literally just got one for mine. Yes cheap indeed. Heres the link. Is very bright and has an adhesive side. You have to silicone it tho. Comes in various sizes Aquarium 440 Actinic Blue Moon Light LED Strip 100 Lumens ft Salt Water Reef | eBay

Silicone only the sides and plug connections just to protect against moisture. Thought i should add that
