Simple DIY target feeder for mandarin, pipefish, and more.

Really nice and very easy to build one......Other fishes can be benefited from this as well.....

that's another great invention from PaulB
You've got it, Willie! It's simple and effective. Paul has some fascinating thoughts and ideas, which is another reason we're happy he's part of the team over at SWS.

Indeed! Aside from the ones mentioned, it can beneficial for a variety of fish that have small mouths and require frequent feedings throughout the day.

Paul has a brilliant mind but if you tell him I said so, I'll deny it LOL

I've learned a lot from Paul and always enjoy reading his stories, I find myself quoting Paul a lot on the forums too when questions are posted :)

Now it's very hard for me to post this because my computer is in a nook and my head is to big to fit in it any more. I never get compliments from Supermodels, I am not sure why as salt water aquariums is the favorite hobby of many Supermodels.
Here is a short video of the feeder if anyone is interested. You can build it for about $5.00 and that includes the electrical tape that you can use to repair the holes in your wife's stockings after you cut a large hole out of them to make the feeder.
Just use the container the tape comes in. The tape comes in red, blue, black, yellow, orange and purple so choose the color tape that most matches your wife's legs and she won't notice for a while.

Was it difficult or a long process to get the mandarin and cb and other fishes to start eating on the trap?

At first they were afraid like they would be to anything new. Now I can't get them off of it.

3 hours and 37 minutes. I don't know, maybe a couple of days. I barely remember the name of my wife, whats her name?
I have a bone to pick with you, Paul. You told me it was 4 hours and 17 minutes... :mad2:

It could have been 17 weeks for all I know, I make this stuff up as I go along. This reminds me of a Saturday Night Live skit where they had William Shatner as Capt Kirk and he was at a Star Trek Convention, and this Geek asked, "do you remember when the Romulins captured Ahura or do you remember when the Ferengi wanted to take over planet so and so, and remember when you had the Tribbles all over the ship," And Shatner said "yes", then remember you got this idea how to get rid of them? And he said "yes", and remember you had to go into the ship's safe to retrieve this vital information? and Shatner said "yes". Then the guy asks, "What was the combination of the safe?

Shatner said, you really need to get a life, go out and kiss a girl, drink a beer, hit your thumb with a hammer (or something like that).
I don't want it to sound like I am a Trekkie but I have seen all the movies. I like SCI FY what can I say. I live in reality but I dream in fiction. It's like when people read novels about true events that were not that interesting. Just normal life stuff. Why would you read that. Don't you live that? But science fiction brings you to all sorts of weird places, places that don't exist so you can't get bored. The weirder the better.
I guess that's why I like broken bottles, cans and chains in my tank.
Have a great day. Time to go to Romulus :becky:
