So i got into my sump tonight to perform some maintenance the basic stuff, one being a cleaning of my biopellet reactor. I noticed the pellets were not tumbling really well.
So i shut down my return cleaned it hooked back up and started return again. Still hardly any tumbling. This simplicity pump i have is only about 3 months old.
Has anyone else hadissue with these loosing their ability to pump the amount of water they did when new?
At this point the pellets are not going to be effective because there is no tumbling except for the very bottom. I even took apart my gate valve to see if that was the issue.
The pump feeds my display tank and this biopellet reactor the smallest one from reef octo. Almost half full with pellets.... i just am confused thoughts?
