Went to the LFS today and saw of these guys for $20 and thought it'd be a nice addition to my 125 gallon reef. After doing a bit of research, some sites say that this fish can be very hard to care for and, like any angelfish, may not be totally reef safe. Anybody ever kept one of these guys successfully? Are they really that difficult to care for?? Thanks!

I've got one in a very mixed reef... IMO they aren't anymore difficult to care for than any other angels or butterflies. But they for sure will nip and eat your coral polyps.

They are sensitive the first couple weeks after capture and will be delicate and shy in the beginning. But get hardier and bolder over time.

They definitely are a coral eater.
