Looking for recommendations for single bulb t5 fixtures. This is for a future build on 8ft tank running leds as primary lighting. I would like to fit them at 45 deg angle under a canopy, single bulb on each side to fill in shadowed spots ect. I also just like the way a tank looks with leds and t5s.

These would do the trick, I like the dimmable feature as well. Trying not to break the bank as these would be supplemental lights. Any less pricey options that anyone can recommend?

The less you spend, the less output that you are going to have. The reflectors and ballasts are not all built the same. Whatever you do, make sure that your retro kit has waterproof end caps and good reflectors.

I will definitely look into the sunblasters, thanks. If t5s were going to be my primary light source, I would be much more inclined to invest more in the fixtures. This will be as much for aesthetics as additional spectrum from t5s.
