Single Coral Tanks?

What're your thoughts on single coral tanks? It can be literally having a single specimen in the tank or having a single genus/species of coral.
Plenty of zoa only tanks out there! And nem only tanks (BTA and RFA). Why not?? There’s a lot of stunning options!

Would love to have a Trachyphyllia only tank for sexual reproduction purposes! Mostly because Trachys are cheaper than other large single polyp non-fungiid corals. Scolymias would be nice, but I don't have that kind of money.

A mushroom anemone tank would also be super cool. Like potato chips, you can't just have one...

Probably best way to keep some species/genotypes/varieties. Corals are manipulating the bacteria in the water and the immune systems can vary significantly at the genotype level so some corals are difficult to keep with other corals.

This article on strawberry shortcake is a good example. It seems likely there are a few genotypes that might survive in a mixed reef setting but the majority of genotypes probably need acro dominate systems to survive

Using a species like A. millipora and spot lights with different spectrum a wide variety colors could be expressed
