Those with tanks longer than say 3ft, do you use a single cover or multiples to allow easier access?

I'm considering Red Sea's 2ft and 3ft cover (or 2.5+2.5 which is a bit more expensive) for my 5ft tank, this would allow me to access the tank for say seaweed feeding, coral feeding etc

I have the Max S 650 which is about 5ft long and I have the single Red Sea mesh cover across the top.

When I feed cubes for example I just lift up one corner and drop the food it. I did think about making a small hole for feeding, but it’s not necessary once you get the hang of it

I also have an Apex auto feeder on one corner, and the food just drops through the holes without issue.

ok, you had to get an extra set of 'indent' kit for your feeder right?

No, the food (dry pellets) just drops through the holes in the mesh with the Apex.

For other foods that I feed manually I just lift the cover slightly and drop it in
