My current tank is a 20 long and I have a single gyre 1k. I'm getting plenty of gyre flow but because there's only one pump the flow is all in one direction. Will the flow I'm getting hurt the growth rate of my acro's?

Thats pretty wide flow pattern from that unit. Its constant direct flow that is when some corals close up a bit. Like a maxi jet pointed at one colony at 1 speed.
The 1k was designed to be the only unit on a tank your size.

The corals do look happy but wanted to make sure. Another problem I'm a little worried about is shadows on the base of my frags. I'm suing 2 AI prime's and i had a couple ORA sps frags that died only in the areas that were shadowed. I have a Paletta blue that didnt die like this but i just got 7 frags from Battle Corals and a few of them have a some shadowing around the base. Should I just wait and see what happens or should I try and move things around so they get less of a shadow?

The shadow is about half the base on some, so one half has light all the way to the base and the other side doesnt,

If you don’t want shading you may want to consider T5 or halide. :)

It's not that the shadows bother me, I'm just worried it will kill parts of the coral. I also still have T5 ballasts and end caps from my old tank, but I like that the AI's take up less room.
