Single light suspension

Currently have a single xr15 on my tank on the RMS mount but need to suspend the light from the ceiling in order to be able to fit my protein skimmer (all in one tank). Looking for some DIY ideas for suspending the light instead of buying the $60 ecotech kit. Please post up some pics of how your light is suspended, thanks!

M5 -0.8 should be the thread size for the mount holes.
