At the LFS they said it was recommended to keep a pair of firefish instead of a single one. I've got them but I've only one now because I lost the other.
Should I get another one to complete the pair?
What's the opinion of fellow reefers about single versus a pair?

Thank you!

Unless you can find a mated pair, one will kill the other.

You probably lost the other because the fire fish killed it.

I'd probably look for another LFS

I lost it because it jumped out! They were fine together. At the LFS they had a tank with many many and they've got two of them randomly.

The regular old firefish aren't as nasty to each other compared to the purple firefish. I have three in a 75 and one is a bit of odd man out but surviving.
