I know variety is the spice of life and most of us apply this motto to our reef tanks by adding a diverse range of coral and fish species. However, I have recently come across a couple of species focused tanks that have a lot of beauty in their simplicity. I'm curious if any of you have tanks similar to the ones below, in that there is one singular focus. The examples are a carpet anemone in one and a large toadstool in the other. Anyone have a giant coral colony or invert in the middle of their tank that follows a similar theme? Would love to see some pics!

I thought it would be cool to have a giant sps colony centered in an 18” or 24” cube. Maybe a blue stag or a slimer. I guess we’ll see if anyone out there has something like that!
