Single white spec on clownfish

Just noticed this today on my clownfish.

Any ideas?

It could excreting excess mucus, or it possibly sand particle or debris caught on his slime coat. Keep an eye on it. Ichs life cycle is typically 3-7 days of feeding on the fish before it falls off, if you look in the next 24-28 hours and its gone, you can likely rule out ich.

Update: Less than 24 hours later the spec is gone. Hoping it was just a grain of sand or something. I'll be keeping a close eye on him.
