Hi Looks like nobody check other thread about Sinularia coral so decided to make my own. Yesterday noticed black stuff on my coral..... I have had it for over a year. Looked all good until yesterday! Only thing i noticed was Clown started hosting it week or two ago.
Parameters are all good. Is it some kind of bacteria? Anything i can do to save it? Thx

Next coral to it was Montipora who bleached out! Took it out few days ago... I believe Zoas or Hammer sting it.

Mine never had issues even though I never moved it(cruel I know ).
So yes , it will likely recover , If the wounds begin to look worse , is use some iodine or revive. And if need be , frag it.

Doesn’t look good -especially bottom part. Not gonna touch it. Will see what happens..Someone told me to take it out and frag it but i never done it before!

It’s crazy easy. You need a really sharp razor or scissors.

I was the razor in soap water and then alcohol. Btw.

If i know myself i will damage something!! Never done or seen it ....It’s glued to center rock.To take it out will be pain in the butt!

Yea.
Keep blowing the stuff off , and see how it goes.
