Hi folks, I added a gyre to my 56 gallon high nutrient tank to get detritus in suspension. All the coral, macro algae and life love the added flow except my beautiful sinularia. It is shrunk with it's polyps retracted except one branch that looks normal. My guess is that it will adjust but I just wanted an opinion from others.

All my leathers are in higher flow than recommended and none of them care, they did pout when added though as they came from a low flow tank (all from the same tank except 2).

They are super wimpy/pouty when things change. I keep mine in high flow. They'll come around

Thank you both for your replies and experiences. I was thinking the same but it's reassuring to hear that other reefers have had the same experience.

Here’s 3 of my leathers (I included my Kenya as although they aren’t a true Leather they are often under the term of a Leather).

I really like leathers and Kenya trees too. I only have a cabbage leather and the sinularia. I'd have more but space is limited.

My Palau green nepthea enjoyed the flow was in the receiving end of the Nero 5 75% pulse. Probably could have used more to keep the interior from going necrotic. Saved bunch. I’m sure it will adjust to new flow.
