Anyone had this wrasse and damsel together in a tank and felt they lived decently together?

I have a Fiji blue devil now...such a beautiful fish but also one of the most aggressive. However the wrasse is also aggressive on its own.

What do you all think?

I keep them together all the time. They mix it up occasionally - but my tanks are larger 120g, 45g and 70g.
Its a pretty even match - I don't think that if they were properly introduced - one would get the better of the other, but if one is established and the other a newcomer - it could be touch and go especially in a smaller tank.

Thanks for the feed back. I currently have the devil, and a few clown gobies. The end result tank is a deep blue 7.5 rimless nano reef.

Both the gobies and devil will be going into that system so it's at its max as far as fish go anyway. I may still consider putting them together because they'll be introduced at the same time. One from an established system and the other from a LFS.

I wish there was something that took out pests like flatworms that the devil didn't bother, but you pay the price for the devils beauty.

The tank the devil is coming from is a 12 gallon nano cube and going into the 7.5 rimless. Believe it or not there will be a tad more swimming area than in the 12 gallon. With the reservoir in the back the nano cube is probably near the 7-9 gallon mark for actual fish and coral space IMO.

What's your take on this?

That's also what I figured. Just wanted to see what others opinions are. I prefer smaller tanks..easier to care for IMO.

I have no issue with treating with FWE or whatever else needs to be done to treat for corals, but a nice pest killer would be nice. Who know...later I may have to give up the devil.
