I have a 29 gallon biocube which had a damsel, clownfish, and a six line wrasse. I was out of town for theee days and I came home to find that my wrasse was not swimming around like usual and was in a rock. I came back to the tank later and found him laying on the sand bed on his side, dead. Does anyone know the cause of this and if my damsel and clownfish will get sick from whatever happened to him.

How old is the tank? Probably ran out of pods to eat. In my experience, they're cold blooded murderers anyways but you had a couple aggressive fish with it so I'm sure they could hold their own.

The tank is relatively old. I got it a couple months ago but the previous owner had it up for a year or two. Do you have any ideas on what other fish I could add to the tank now?

The damsel and clown are both going to be territorial so anything has a chance of being picked on. Just keep that in mind. I might try a Royal Gramma but I'm partial to them heh

Ok thanks! Do you think I could add a royal gramma and another clown as well?

I wouldn't, as clowns are best added together (as are most fish if you're going to try adding multiples) at the same time. Keep in mind, 3 or 4 fish should be tops for a tank that size, in my opinion.

Alright, thank you!
