I bought a batch of livestock from a hobbiest exiting the hobby during our pandemic-created fish supply chain disruption.
The 13 fish have been going through my standard med treatment and QT program the last month.

This batch includes a 2” six line wrasse and he has already been living long term with two other wrasses. I have always avoided them based on reputation so I thought I’d see how he’d do during the 6 week treatment period. So far he’s a model citizen and I added dart fish, gobies, a cardinal, and a hawk fish to this batch of fish and he’s been great.

As this QT period ends later this month it’s decision time on whether he goes into the 280G display tank (which has a large melanarus wrasse) or he gets rehomed so I ask my dear friends on R2R for their experience with these curious and energetic little wrasses.

I have never owned one. I do have a male blue head wrasse who, just recently, has gone from model citizen to complete jerk. He's been taking bites out of the fins of others and chasing them all over. The 6-liners are pretty, but a little small for my liking.

Tagging along as I put a deposit down on one in QT at the LFS
