Hello everyone! I noticed my six line wrasse has a few whitish oval like spots that seemed to be raised. I thought it was flukes and dipped him in hydroplex fish dip but it wasn't flukes. He is acting normal and eating well. I just got him a week ago. The tank size is 110 gallons. All the parameters are good. If anyone has any idea on what it could be, or what I should do, please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

First - welcome to the site.
Second- thanks for the great pictures.

Before mentioning the multiple things it 'could be' - would you mind looking at the link below my post and answering the questions - that are designed to help us help you?

Appears to be bacterial tufts likely from post injury or associated water quality issues
First take a look at your ammonia/Ph/nitrate readings and please verify what test kits you are using

Maybe he's scraping scales darting through rocks in the tank. It has happened to my 6 line.

Ph is 8.1, ammonia 0, nitrate 4. I use api and take to lfs to test once a month.

If LFS is using api test kits, please have water tested at an LFS that does not use API just for confirmation
Hanna and salifert are my reliable sources. Water changes also help with this as it’s likely tank environmental

Neobenedenia flukes are usually invisible, but you can sometimes see them on smaller fish as translucent ovals. I would not expect Hydroplex to be able to dislodge them, they are pretty tough - even a 5 minute FW dip may not knock them all off.

So what should I do?

Yeah I do a 10 to 20 percent water change every week. And they use the digital one there.

So what should I do?
If you could catch it for a Hydroplex dip, I would do the same for a FW dip. If they don’t fall off, that confirms it isn’t flukes. If some do drop off, then you should dose the tank with prazi.

Are these all the same shape, just different sizes? If not all oval shaped, probably not flukes.

They're close to the same size yeah, but I need to take a better look. Can I put prazi pro in the DT. And idk if I'll be able to catch him again. It was crazy hard.
