Six line wrasse mark help

Hey guys about 4 or 5 days ago I noticed a mark on my six line that looked like a bite mark. I figured my tang or angel had to put him in his place. The color has changed a bit and I'm a little concerned. He's swimming and eating I'd just prefer not to have a dead wrasse of I can avoid it. Here's a few pics I was able to nab. Any advise would help.

How long have you had the wrasse?
This doesn't look like an injury, or if it was, a secondary infection has set in.
Sometimes fish can battle off a bacterial infection if it isn't too deeply seated in the tissues. However, when I see a wrasse with an "injury" like this, Uronema comes to mind. You most often see it in chromis and wrasses, usually within a month or so of acquiring them, Here is a link to an article I wrote about it.

I've had him about a month now. It didn't start out that color it was pink which made me think bite mark. But that's what it has developed into.
 
I know mine has scraped his top dorsal area darting in and out of rocks. Is it possible yours injured himself in a similar manner?

I'm sorry - this does sound like Uronema. the timing is right, it looks like it, and wrasse are prone to developing it. There isn't a good treatment for this once the lesion reaches this point - the protozoans are living in the fish's muscle tissue and growing, before you ever see the lesion break the surface. It still could be a bacterial disease, but I'm tending to doubt that. the only bright point is that it isn't a very contagious disease.

That's disappointing to hear. Well I guess I'll just sit and wait. If he recovers great, if not that's unfortunate
