Ok I know this is an odd question but I have a small 6 line about an inch long he is currently in my 15 gallon frag tank and is the only fish there are so many copepods and amphapods in the tank its crazy there's atleast 20-30 per frag plate (2×2) and all over the glass and rockwork and was wondering if I need to feed the 6 line mysis or will the pods sustain him or can I just supplement with some soaked pellets like once a week just wondering if he would be able to survive off of the pods because I'm wanting to lower the number in the tank hahaha

I know there benificial but there to a point they irritate my corals there's so many crawling on them

I've had a 6 line in my tank for over 2 years but he rarely ever eats frozen food. Just hunts for prey all day.

I've tried feeding him twice now and he just watches the food float down is belly is always buldging fully for the past 3 days I've had him and he is always picking pods so I just didn't know if it was necessary for his health or not because it would just throw my parameters because he's not eating (I've kept coral only systems for a long time and recently had a run in with zoanthid eating nudis I dipped but must have missed some eggs that's why I got the wrasse to eat any I don't see and kill myself)

If at first you don’t succeed try try again. Sounds to me like this fish is new for you and if that’s the case it is not abnormal for the fish to not eat the first few times you try giving it food because it is not comfortable enough yet.
