Hello fellow reefers,,
I have a question about my wrasse, my tank is 2 yrs old and I have 2 clownfish and my wrasse with a mixed reef of corals
I was wondering what kind of fish I can get where my wrasse won’t bully to death , and a fish that won’t eat my corals?
I got a Bangai cardinal and my wrasse picked on him and rammed him until the cardinal couldn’t take anymore and died.
I got a coral beauty and after 2 months of everything being ok it started to nip at at least 200$ worth of my Zoas,so he had to go…
Thanks everyone
Scott

What size tank? They can be mean and may not allow anymore additions. Usually best to add them last especially in smaller tanks

Six line wrasse are super aggressive. I would stick where you're at but if you have to risk it, an acclimation box for a few weeks could highly improve your odds of success. Definitely not a big enough tank for any type of angelfish though.

Well that might be the only 3 fish to keep in my aquarium
It is an innovative marine 15 gallon cube
I like my wrasse,, just wanted to have a total of 4 fish
In that size tank I’d definitely say that’s about it. Time to have some fun with some coral it seems if you haven’t already

Only fish I might try would be a damsel. They’re aggressive themselves and should be able to stand up to your six line. But as others have said, that’s probably a good number of fish for that tank

They've been aggressive in my experience too. You'd have to choose fish that will hold their own against it. I don't think anything with a peaceful temperament will do well
