I would like to know if a Six Line Wrasse would be compatible with the following fish; 2 Fire Fish, 2 Yellow Watchman Gobies,2 Clowns,3 Green Chromis,Red Fire Shrimp,2 Peppermint Shrimp and a Pistol Shrimp. I understand they will eat anything they can get their mouths on. We are trying to get bristle worms under control. Thank you in advance

Hard to say because sixlines are very finicky. I would just assume the following would happen.

-He is fine for the first month
-Starts showing aggression after a few months
-Is intolerable after a year

Some people seem to have success with them though. I have one in a 20 gallon with 2 clowns and he is fine with them, but when I added a tail spot he wouldn't leave him alone. They should do fine with larger shrimp like you have, he never messes with my skunk cleaner.

If your tank is big enough maybe look into a yellow coris wrasse. They have similar pest hunting ability and stay relatively small compared to the larger wrasses.

Ok, will look at that yellow coris
Thanks

Six line isn't compatible with anything, imo.

If you want to control bristleworms just feed less, but there is really no reason to control them. They are part of a healthy reef.

I have a six line with two clowns, a chalk basslet, and a yellow watchman. It's been over a year and no problems yet. The yellow watchman is the bully in my tank. Who would have thought? My tank is 40g.

Tank size?

But, yes, sixline wrasses always make the list for things people wished they wouldn't have added.

Had a six line in a 110g tank with 10 or so other fish.... turned into a complete butt**** after 6 months, and it was the smallest fish in the tank. So he got a one way ticket to the LFS.
