My six line wrasse has a chunk missing by the tail, disease or aggression. Nobody picking on him now, but at night idk where he sleeps.
Tank inhabitants:
3x clowns, 2 black and white ocellaris, 1 orange occelaris,
1 sailfin tang.
1 6 line wrasse
1x cleaner shrimp
3x (?) Emrald crab I've only ever seen 2, but put 3x in...
1rainbow bubble tip anemone
Small aptasia colonies that I'm currently at war with.
Bristle worms, unknown number but more than a few, no fire worms that use seen, just the purple and red kind.
There a loogie looking snail thing, but only at night,
5x turbo snails.

I'm thinking it's the sailfin. Because the wrasse is all over the rocks. The sailfin sleeps behind the middle of the rocks. But the only resident to have established turf and has shown agreesuin over it is the shrimp that's his dang powerhead.

I'm currently cycling a tank In my daughter's room, but it won't be ready for at least a month, but I'm trying to speed it up by using live rock from my refugium... it's only a 10g and is pretty much bare bones. But again not cycled enough for a qt tank...

It could be injury, aggression or bacterial. I believe post injury. One nice thing about saltwater fish is their ability to heal and quickly. You can use melafix which works well with skin and fin issues, but see if it looks a tad better over next 24-48 hours before adding/buying melafix

I agree with @vetteguy53081 - it could be an injury and fish can usually heal from that (as long as other injuries don't occur). However, in looking at your pictures, it seems that all three clowns have their fins clamped a bit (it could have just been the timing of the shot) and the two black/white clowns seem to have a hint of cloudiness on their fins and bodies. Just watch them for rapid breathing or lack of appetite. I have a Darwin clown in my home office and his fins are always "proud" and he swims in that typical clown circling motion, not a "wagging" motion with droopy fins...

The tang looks fine, and I hope I'm just reading too much into the clown's pictures....

My one smallest b&w vlown has rings in him... good catch. Thanks, just noticed it today, the other ones dont have any such marking, they only other odd behavior is they are no longer schooling, neither fighting. It's like the split the tank into 3rds. It's not ich, but definite ulcerlike wounds on both sides closer to tail. Getting melafix tomorrow. ...

OK, but I am not a fan of any of the botanical “tonics” that are being sold now days, they just do not have proven efficacy for treating acute disease issues. They usually don’t hurt, but their cure rate for infections just isn’t very good.

Its too late in the game for me, I reckon. Got one maybe two (hopefully injured vs-->) sick fish. At this point, I'm in the dosing game for natural remedies that are less in intensive, due to not having a qt tank. Actually I may just take them to the lfs... where I got them from, they have qt tanks. But i fear this because, my overall impression is not good of them. Aptasia, bubble algea, asterina, and all of these fish were bought from them... and one specific store...
