Now I know how “she” felt on our honeymoon :D
Seriously tho, you get what you pay for and now I wish I had just spent a lil more and went to a more ”upgraded” vendor... This one did nothing wrong per se, but gheez these frags are tiny...
Is there any un-written best selling practices for frags like waiting for growth onnto a plug or minimum size?

3/4" is the normal for many sps vendors these days. But dont complain too much people will jump all over you if you complain.
Apparently people like paying more for less these days.
The frag market is totally ****** these days no matter what anyone says. Lots of colors, no sense. I have a handful of 200$ frags but the nicest colony in my system grew from a 15$ frag from an lfs.

I have not purchased from any but the “big vendors” .so this Easter weekend I decidedto give some of the smaller guys a chance...one fail, no names mentioned but we’ll see for the rest .. i have not bought from the more Premium vendors with the higher rices...now maybe I will

they usually will give a size range in the description of the coral. 1in is standard for sps :)
Appreciate being informed....I’m Old school and out of it .... Even if its “ccmmon” its also a downward trend ...time for a “accreditation association” that makes vendors adhere to minimum standards

When I sell I tent to either make sure its a frag I would buy in terms of size and color. I also make sure that most frags heal for about a konth.

It's hard if you've been reefing for any time. I remember a time getting an apple sized platygyra brain for $70. One small vendor I deal with does cut to order and usually the minimum size is met, if it is supposed to be two head, it's usually two plus. I recently ordered a duncan and they called me before shipping because the frag was really only one head and a "stump". They offered to throw in a zoa frag for free. Within a week that duncan stump was putting out a head and I have another head growing. I always do well growing corals from this vendor.

They are also one of the more affordable vendors, no WYSIWYG's, affordable overnight shipping and buying several items usually gets me $20 frags which I can't find around me.

...adding to the above; a lil growth on the plug would be nice, that way I know it isnt a salvage job from a dying colony and/or the frag has a fighting chance
