Have a aprox 180 ga of water including sump. Reef octopus 200 or reef octopus 220 space saver? Or other?

Will be Mixed reef

I'd heard that space savers don't do as well. Wondering if much diff between 220 ss and 200 regular. Maybe what I read was incorrect ?

yeah some of the in pump skimmer loose some dwel time but it well still be very effective for your size tank and loosing just a inch or two not gonna make a huge difference as it takes a minute or more for one of those little bubbles to become fully saturated so really more flow and bubble production that matters in most insump skimmers we use

My skimmer area is the limiting section or Id be looking at 300 ga skimmers. Even w 200 or 220 space saver, I'm trying to figure out how a 7" sock will fit

I'd be thinking about a huge ATS then, instead of a skimmer.
