I'm kicking around moving away from 2 part and going with a calcium reactor on my new tank.
My question is, how much is too much? Do calcium reactors have a "sweet spot", say running at 25%,50%,75% of their rating? Is getting them "dialed in" any way related to the amount of load being put on them? I'm thinking of getting one that's rated at least twice my tank's volume, preferably even more, if a reactor running at 1/3 capacity (or less), can be dialed in and hold levels reliably.

Thanks

When I decided to go with a reactor I bought one that could handle double my water volume. A reactor has a flow meter on them and a bubble counter all in turn will meter how much Alk & clac they will produce
