Hey everyone looking to make a multi tank system setup I plan on setting up 4 50 gallon tanks and attaching them to one sump. I want to set up 4 different set ups for example one fish only, one predator, one lps and sps, and one softy I think it will be awesome to have a wall of different types of saltwater tanks.

The question is do you guys think a 75 gallon sump will be big enough for the 200 gallons of water it will be circulating I want to hook them all up to one sump since this is gonna be costly.

I also want to set up a separate 2 50 gallon tanks as quarantine and the plan for those was to take a 75 gallon and split it in half so about 32 gallons for each 50 gallon.

what are everyone’s thoughts, concerns on the set up, and do you guys feel that those sump sizes are enough?

thanks for the feed back guys and gals

I’d say 75 gallons is plenty on 200 gallons of water. Just my opinion! Of course the more volume the better. There’s folks that run a lot less!! And there folks that run a lot more!!!
