Hello! I am interested in getting a Skeletor moray eel for my new reef tank. It is a 65 gallon tall with a 20 gallon sump. Filtration, pump, and protein skimmer are all over sized. There are lots of caves and live rock for eels to hide in. I designed this aquarium around having an eel as the center piece fish. Would a Skeletor be able to thrive in this setup for its entire life? There is little info about these guys on the Internet, so I would appreciate any advice.

A 65 should be fine. They arenta super active so i dont dont see a problem with that. However a 100 gallon would be preferred. They aren't as aggressive towards inverts and other fish as some websites tell you. As long as they are well fes theyll leave everything alone. They are cool guys. Wish i had another one but i sold him when i moved.

Answered via PM received. Short answer- should be fine but not I'm not familiar with the 65 tall dimensions.
