Just a funny topic, what’s your worst moment cleaning your skimmer? Did it smell soo bad, was is real thick? Share a story.

I came to this thought today just because I was emptying the collection cup for the first time some my sand rinse clean. When I popped the cap I legit almost vomited all over. I’ve never smelled skim that stank so bad! It was like I stepped in hot dog poo on a hot steamy day! Then on top of it made the house smell just like it lol

I like to empty mine in the kitchen sink but not rinse it down the drain. I walk away and wait until my wife or kid walk into to the kitchen. You can figure out what happens next. Some eventually grow to like it, kinda like the smell of gas.

I drank skim before... I was being lazy and instead of shutting my skimmer down to empty it (its a hob that will leak everywhere if its on without the cup) I decided to syphon the skim out with airline tubing. I sucked a little too hard and it got in my mouth. Out of shock I instantly swallowed it. It was a very dry skim....Was not a fun experience.
