I'm trying to plumb my ext150 to drain directly to a sewer line. Whats the connection size of the outlet for the skimmate? I'm guessing a 1/2" push connect would work, but I want to be sure before I order

sorry, i have no idea! did you post this in the wrong forum?

So you want to have a drain line go from the outlet on the bottom of the collection cup right into a drain line? How far away from the tank is your sewage line? The longer the line the more likely you're going to have build up and then backup.

Are you planning to put a valve on the drain to only open when it needs to be dumped? If not, I would advise against this. It's no secret that needle wheel skimmers can overflow during normal use. Imagine what happens if it continues uncontrollably.

I have my skim mate draining into a 5 Gallon bucket, bucket fitted with float switches. When full, solenoid is activated and drains to sewer through a 1/4" tube. If you are interested I will get some pics up.
