Skimmer acting strange

My Nyos skimmer has just started acting strange. It has good fine bubbles and I can adjust it up to the neck which has always giving me a nice smelly dark green skim but now I’m not getting anything at all in the cup. I’ve noticed that the bubbles at the top are still quite small whereas before they would be quite big and poppy. I have recently changed the filter and put a bag of carbon just after it but I have high No3 and Po4 so would have thought it would still pull stuff out.

Any ideas or does it sound ok?

Sounds like your air intake might be partially blocked. Give it a good cleaning. Sometimes salt can clog the air intake
