what do you think? Too much for my bowfront 75?

Now that's a skimmer. I recommend a V8350 to power that up. At least you can at the minimum double your water volume with it.

Might want to go with the next size up. I would use a large centrifugal pump driven by a Cummings 6.7 diesel.
