Skimmer after feeding

I’ve had my new setup about a month now. It’s a 220g display 50g sump. I’ve never really had my skimmer dialed in I’ve noticed everytime I feed my BM B-11 skimmer bubble die down and won’t start foam back normal for a couple hours. I know normally this happens but not this long. I feed LRS but I does it even if I put a sheet of nori in. I’ve tried different heights. I’m running and uv return plumbed into skimmer compartment. With filter sock and rox.8. Anything that can help. Thanks

I don't see an issue. As long as it is skimming after a few hours, things should be fine. I run my skimmer 4 x a day for 2 to 3 few hours each time.

Yes this is completely normal. The more oil in the aquarium, the longer it takes. Lots of oil in LRS (makes it awesome food).
