Since the last cleaning the other day the skimmer has decided to keep doing this ... Any idea how to get it to actually collect again instead of popping the lid off and making a mess?

Run it more wet maybe? FWIW I don't think the adjustment was changed.

Good possibility, but... I'd still turn it down a bit. My RO skimmer will sometimes do the same thing after I stir things up a bit.
With the water level lowered a bit, it should allow things to settle down a bit.
You might also try cleaning the cup and neck. That will allow for better consolidation of the foam into that gross muck.

I cleaned it yesterday afternoon after work since the vent holes in the lid were kinda clogged up. I Qtipped them out and cleaned the entire cup. This is what I came home to now

Sounds like SOMETHING is making it go bonkers. Mine usually goes nuts just after a cleaning. It'll settle down

I in the last month started dosing vodka and vinegar..... my skimmer never FOAMED up like it does now that I dose carbon.

It went from a wet skim.....to a foamy skim. I now rinse out the lid n cup twice a week.

But worth not having GHA and a daily algae film build up on glass. I'll gladly trade cleaning skimmer for not having all kinds of algae problems
