Skimmer clarification for my secondhand eshopps sump

I bought a used eshopps sump.

4" water level

11"×9.5" skimmer area

Before I buy I want to clarify I can buy whatever skimmer as long as it fits those measurements?

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

This sump is a bit smaller then I wanted ideally, but for $30 I'm using it.

Measure from the bottom to the top of the overflow that I drew. That will give you your water depth. It looks like more than four inches.

The reef octopus classic 110 is a popular skimmer for that size. Maybe someone else can recommend something also.

O thats 8"! Bottom of sump to top of sponge... i didnt know what i was measuring apparently...

That sounds better. Most skimmers operate in 7 to 8 inches of water.

Now that I get its 8" it makes a lot more sense, lol. Thus its easier to find one.

I've bought most of my gear second hand and in new condition. Saved a ton of money that way. You do have to move quick on the best deals though.
