Skimmer collection cup...

this cloudy look is from bristle worms. I saw something last night that was really quite something. Also very very disgusting. I think what I witnessed was bristle worms spawning. 1 after 1 the were popping there heads out of the rock and spraying some white or creamed color cloudy stuff. My entire 160 gallon tank got so. Cloudy u could not see anything in it. It looked like the worst bacteria bloom ever seen. I did not get a pic because it was very late. I did check my skimmer cup this morning though hoping it pulled most of it from the water. So here it is.

Please let me know what you guys think if I did capture these nasty bristle worm spawning or not the color of that collection cup in the Cloudy look of it is exactly how my tank look last night when they were spitting stuff out I will try to get a picture or a short video in the tank tonight to see if I can't catch it again that way it's more definitive

Wow... Thanks... I just ate lunch.

Likely you didn't capture all of white goo of death but visually probably reduced their potential numbers by a fair bit. Kinda just bumping for knowledge.

Sorry everyone wasn't lunch time where I'm at I could see how that wasn't good though tomorrow I'll try to keep you guys as lunchtime open and free from tonight's tank watch I'll post after work time
