I just recently treated my tank with chemiclean to get rid of the red slime and now my skimmer is creating microbubbles and are seen in my display tank. Before i treated my tank i did not have this problem. When I turn off the skimmer no more bubbles and as soon as it turns on I have bubbles again. I took the skimmer out and rinsed it off and cleaned it. What else can I try?

Water changes.
Def look at the instructions again on the wc shed and follow it to a t.

IMO , the bubbles are only helping. It provides extra oxygen during the treatment and allows of oxidization and break down of the components of both the meds and the dying organisms.

Thank you. I did a water change after 2 days of letting the chemiclean cycle through and have been letting the skimmer just run. It seems like the bubbles are less now. Maybe it was a rinse of it and time. Hopefully they completely disapper.
