Skimmer depth help

I am planning a new build and have all the equipment but the tank, but to the question!

My sump's skimmer chamber is a tad over 5 inches for water height. I have a BK mini 180 for the skimmer. Will 5" of depth be enough for the skimmer to work or no? If no where can you get acrylic/glass cut to order so I can put a different baffle in? And what height should i have it if i modify the sump?

The working water level for this unit is 5 inches to 11 inches. So you should be ok

Im hoping your right! Hopefully it performs just as good at 5" as it would at 11" lol

As long as you adjust it for such, should do good for you
