Skimmer dirty after two weeks

i have a Curve five skimmer love it
My water parameters are fine with phosphates a little high at .025
I'm running Cheato in my fuge
But wondering why the skimmer is so dirty and amazingly only on one side ( that side faces the wall of the skimmer section) the skimmer section walls aren't dirty that much at all
Any ideas

Ah yes it is now that you mention it

That will do it. You could look into getting some black acrylic panels to block the light spill into the skimmer area. I need to do it myself

Yeah I got the trigger systems crystal sump to save some money thinking it couldn't get too bad. The walls aren't that bad but that skimmer is something else

I don't know y the baffles in the trigger sump don't go almost all the way to the top like my Eshopps sump. This would stop light from getting to the skimmer. I have have a trigger 26 and have the same problem. I'm going to get a dark piece of acrylic and install it at the top of the first baffled to stop the light.

My baffle between the skimmer and fuge is split. The opening is low 3/4 down but then it comes up, I'll have to find something
