Skimmer Drain

Hello all,
Has anyone here with Eshopps protein skimmers (or other manufactures w/out drains) do a DIY on a drain? I really want to do one on my Axium X-120. Ideas? Thanks all!

I haven't had a skimmer without a drain, but what would your concern be?

I want to have the option to allow drainage into the sump, because when I run ChemiClean the skimmer becomes spastic.

Ah, got it. I've tried that with my Deltec before and it didn't work well at all. The drain wasn't nearly large enough.

When I need to not have my skimmer offline for some reason or other I run it without the collection cup installed. This works much better for me.
