skimmer during cycle

I know it has been asked before but couldnt find anything

Is it wise to run your skimmer during the cycle to help keep the water as clean as possible?

Yes run it. No reason not to. If you add anything to boost the cycle be sure to turn the skimmer off for a day. Other than that get it broken in an working. It will help remove anything from new sand and rock for the water before it breaks down.
