When adding a float valve to the skimmer lid, are you guys using some sort of quick-connect on the wire? So the lid can be easily removed for cleaning?

When running dosing lines: is it okay to use acrylic tubing for the whole line? (minus a bit connected to the actual pumps of course) I already have the tube and think it would look really clean, but I wonder if potential breakage might be something to worry about? I doubt it's a big issue but just thought I'd see what you guys thought

While I’d don’t have a float valve on my skimmer, I would definatly use a quick disconnect if I did. I would be a big hassle doing weekly cleanings otherwise.
Rigid tubing could work out nicely. I am considering incorporating that idea now to clean up some of those hoses all over the place. The rigid tubing cam be heated and bent as well. Please post pics if you decide to do it.

Oh I didn't even think about bending it! That's a good idea. I have like 24' of it, so I'm definitely going to rig something up.
