Skimmer for 30g which?

Unless you have a Calcium reactor, some system like Zeovit/Prodibio/etc, or you plan on stuffing that tank with fish somehow (usually not very common with tanks under about 50g unless you opt for very small fish), a skimmer might not serve your needs as well as just doing about 10 gallons worth of water changes every week.

I have been happy with my AquaC Remora PRO but its on a 55g, I have never heard bad things about this brand of small skimmers. Im sure others will chime in.

I had the same skimmer on my old 29g and thought it was alright i know theres a much better 1 but cant think of which it was

I am running a Warner Marine skimmer on my 40 breeder and it kicks butt. I personally run the H2 HOB version, but I don't think you could go wrong with any Warner Marine skimmers. The H1, would probably be perfect size for your set-up. Are you looking for a HOB or a in-sump? I don't know the dimensions of a 10 gallon but can't imagine you could fit too big of a skimmer in there. Also a Tunze would probably suit your needs for a bit less coin as well.

I am running A tunze on my 24 gal + 5 gal sump and it pulls skimmate like this!

Id go with a bubble magnus NA6, cheap and would be more than enough.
Agreed, but way overkill on a 30, go for the Mini... unless you are feeding insane amounts!

I looked into both for my 20 gal display, which is all non-photosynthetic, so insane amounts of food go into this thing, and I'll still proly wind up with the Mini version.

What footprint are you working with?

Its big for a 30g but the price is so cheap. It should work fine though. How many people expand from a 30g tank once they get the addictive blood flow going : )

Touche Luke ;)

Do know anyone shipping the NA6 yet? CADlights is only doing pre-orders...

Honestly I would likely jump for the NA6 if I could get actual dimensions for the dang thing! CADlights sight has two different dimensions listed for them on their site, one would work in my sump, the other would not. When I called them they basically said, "Well the NA6 isn't available yet, and the Mini would rock worlds on your 20 gal (which I don't doubt, but bigger IS better!), so just get the Mini".

Nuocean has them but is on vacation til Nov or something. There about the only one i know with stock at the moment.

I've been running the bubble magus nac6 for about 3 months now. Nuocean was where I bought my NAC6 from and I have no complaints about that skimmer especially for the price. Cant complain about $150 shipped for a good skimmer.

I've ran there hot's for 6+ mths, tested some of there pw's. One pw for the mj1200 pulls 350lph at 12w. Pretty darn good. They work very well. Dont care to much for the colors though : )
