I'm looking for a skimmer for my BioCube. What does everyone use?? Also does anyone know if the CAD lights nano would work? Any info would be great thanks.

I have heard great things about the cadlights nano skimmer. I would go with that one especially since it sits in the chamber of the biocube and isn't a HOB

If you put the Cad Lights in the first chamber of a Coralife Biocube 29 can you still close the lid? I am currently running a Hydor Slim Skim Nano in my 2nd chamber along with a media rack, but I can't stand the humming noise that reverberates through the tank.

Thanks!

I took out the bottom floor in the first chamber (don't know why they have one there) and works great !
I have done some other mods as well.

I have the Cad Lights in our 29g BioCube. I tried it on another tank because my wife's tank it not running yet, but I love it !
Very easy to adjust by turning the body, and since it comes apart very easy, it's easy to clean.

If you want to see pics, I'll be happy to post some. I'm starting a new thread about my wife's 29g Oceanic BioCube soon.

Highly recommend it !
