Skimmer for Fluval 5g nano?

Hey reefers!

I am thinking about going with something very simple like the fluval 5g make a little mixed reef tank. I want to upgrade all of the equipment it comes with tho. Any idea what skimmer will fit into this tiny tank filtration ? i really wanted the icekap nano skimmer but im not sure if that will fit. Also looking for a better return pump like a sicce but also not sure if any of those models fit. Thanks for the responses!

I would not bother with a skimmer on such a small tank. Just do weekly water changes.

You don’t need a skimmer and any you manage to get to fit would not work that great anyway, use the space for other equipment.

no need for a skimmer as water changes take care of small tanks.

awesome! where can i buy the floss you use ? also will a sicce pump fit inside there? that is somethign i deff need more GPH

I do not think a sicce will fit. This is the upgrade people use but you have to remove the front plate to get it to fit.

All you need is floss, carbon and then whatever media the tank needs such as rowaphos if po4 is high, equipment wise, return pump and maybe a RFG, maybe a media basket if you gave room, oh and a ato.
