Skimmer for Reefer 250

Hey everybody I bought an icecap k1 130 and now the pump turns off randomly. So now I'm looking for a new skimmer at a good price. What do you recommend ? I'm interested in the Reef Octupus classic 110sss but afraid to get it because its made by the same manufacturer as the ice cape k1 130= CoralVue
