Skimmer Getting Crazy

Used little epoxy for coral attachment last weekend and skimmer started crazy. Shut it off for a week and had 20% water change today. But still acts the same. Even I taped the air intake but not helping. Any suggestions? It is a vertex 150 in a crystal 30 ruby.

Add some carbon to help remove the epoxy.

And probably just need more water changes; then all of a sudden skimmer settles down and goes back to normal. I've never had this problem using Ecotech's CG btw.
