Last night I mounted a few frags using Epoxy. I've done it before, even with the same stick of epoxy, maybe not quite as much epoxy in one night in the past and this is the first time it made my skimmer go nuts. I replaced the carbon recently (15th of the month when my Apex reminds me) so I'm already running fresh carbon but my skimmer is still going nuts about 24 hours later. I have a couple poly filters on hand for pulling copper out of QT tanks will using one help my situation out any?

Thanks.

I just turn my skimmer all the way down and let it run its course...

Thanks. I was hoping maybe I could move the process along without tinkering with the skimmer. Feel like I had it dialed in but I went ahead and turned it down.

I’ve used epoxy before and never had an issue, this wasn’t even the first time I used epoxy from this tube but will reconsider it going forward. I use glue sometimes as well but in certain spots I liked the epoxy to fill a hole or build up a base.
